The retail environment is volatile and unpredictable, and this is true across the board. As in everything, you will need to be able to weather the ups and downs of the cycle.
Do you have the means to adapt?
To make a successful on-air presentation, you must be willing to learn the customer (because she may be new to you) and what fuels her desire to purchase. You will need visual assets, an engaging on-air personality, and spunk. For many brands, this is a whole new world, and one that is outside of their normal business practices.
